Who We Are
Our History
Our organization was born from the extreme need that was evident since refugees were in dire straits across the globe. We were motivated to rally our communities to render assistance in any possible way to help alleviate the difficulty that many had faced globally, as we had experienced this first hand. We are always guided by our senior Ulema (theologians) in all Zakaat and Qurbaani distributions.
Our mission
The objectives of the Organisation will remain to save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity during and in the aftermath of crises and natural disasters such as South Africa and the world at large has seen during this Covid19 pandemic, as well as to prevent and strengthen preparedness for the occurrence of such situations.
The organisation will assist insofar as to provide the most basic human needs of food, shelter, clothing, and medical care and the sole aim of which is to prevent or relieve suffering and is accorded to victims without discrimination on the grounds of race, ethnic group, religion, sex, age, nationality or political affiliation and is and will not be guided by, or subject to, political consideration. Humanitarian aid decisions are and will be taken impartially and solely according to the victims’ needs and interests.
